The Trinity

We believe in one true and living God, who eternally exists in three Persons – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The three persons of Trinity are equal in every divine perfection, and they execute distinct but harmonious roles in the work of creation, providence and redemption.

 

God the Father

We believe that God the father is the first person in the Trinity. He is the source of All, the Sovereign over everything and the Supplier of all our needs.

 

God the Son  (Jesus Christ)

We believe that Jesus Christ, is the Son of God, our Savior and Lord.. Through His virgin birth, sinless life, and substitutionary atonement, Jesus has purchased our redemption, and thus He has procured for us forgiveness of sins, freedom from the power of sin, release from the punishment for sin, newness of life, abundant life and eternal life.

 

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. He fulfills an ongoing but invisible role of connection and communication between God and His people, resulting to repentance, faith and obedience. He empowers believers for holy living and effective service.

 

The Word of God 

We believe the Bible alone, is the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and having supreme authority in all matters of faith and life. It consists of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments.

 

Salvation 

We believe Salvation is God’s gift to all humanity, received through faith. All people are sinners by nature and by choice and are, therefore, under the judgment of God. However, those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ for forgiveness, believe in His resurrection and receive Him as their Savior are granted salvation, forgiveness of sin and are regenerated by the Holy Spirit into a new life in Christ. It is only trusting in Jesus Christ and his saving grace that one can be saved.

 

Future Destiny 

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ will return again to earth, personally and visibly, to establish His kingdom and fulfill God’s eternal plan for creation. Death seals the eternal destiny of each person. For each person, there will be a resurrection of the body, the final judgment before God, the eternal bliss in heaven for those who are in Christ Jesus, and the endless suffering in hell for those who have not received salvation.

 

Spiritual Gifts 

We believe that once a person believes in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit endows with gifts. Specific gifts are bestowed upon specific individuals for the purpose of edifying the body of Christ.

 

The Ordinances

We believe in Baptism and the Lord’s Supper as the ordinances that were instituted by Jesus Christ for the church to observe. Baptism by immersion unites believers with Christ’s atoning work in His death, burial, and resurrection for the forgiveness of sins. The Lord’s Supper reminds believers of the blessing of God’s presence, belonging to Jesus’s family and joyful celebration of God’s victory and deliverance.
